Loose Tapestries
Loose Tapestries is an alternative music project consisting of Sergio Pizzorno (Kasabian), and comedian Noel Fielding. It was formed in 2012 to provide music for '' Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy''. Their first album, ''Loose Tapestries Presents the Luxury Comedy Tapes'', was released on 2 March 2012 as a digital download, and made available as a very limited edition of 500 records for Record Store Day on 21 April 2012. Kasabian touring members Ben Kealey and Tim Carter also worked on the album (with Carter credited at the end of the programme), while some of the designing was handled by regular Kasabian collaborator Aitor Throup. Their second album, ''N.H.S.,'' was released on 17 June 2016, and is the soundtrack from the show's second series, ''Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy 2: Tales from Painted Hawaii'', which began in July 2014. Noel Fielding
Noel Fielding (; born 21 May 1973) is an English comedian, artist, and actor. He was part of The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside Julian Barratt in the 2000s, and has been a co-presenter of ''The Great British Bake Off'' since 2017. He is known for his black comedy, dark and surreal humour, surreal comedic style. Fielding began performing stand-up comedy when he graduated from art school in 1995, and in 1997 he first met Mighty Boosh collaborator Barratt when they both appeared on the same comedy bill at a pub in north London. ''Luther'' is a British psychological crime thriller television series starring Idris Elba as DCI John Luther and Ruth Wilson as Alice Morgan, written by Neil Cross. Ben Kealey
Ben Kealey is the former English touring keyboardist for the rock band Kasabian. He was born in Leicester, England. Career Kasabian Kealey was the drummer in the band in its original format, when the band was still called Saracuse. In 2006, he rejoined the band (now named Kasabian) as the keyboard and synth player. In 2009, he became a permanent touring member of Kasabian; he was not involved with most of the promotional work, but he did appear in the music video for "You're in Love with a Psycho, You're in Love With a Psycho". Record Store Day
Record Store Day is a semi-annual event established in 2008 to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". Held on one Saturday (typically the third) every April and every Black Friday in November, the day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores around the world. Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy
''Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy'', known as ''Luxury Comedy 2: Tales from Painted Hawaii'' for series two, is a British surreal comedy television series written and directed by Noel Fielding and Nigel Coan. The initial format for the series changes after the first series, with series one being a surreal sketch show, and series two being a sitcom. The series stars Noel Fielding, his brother Michael Fielding, Tom Meeten, Dolly Wells, and occasionally Rich Fulcher, Dave Brown, and Richard Ayoade. Sergio Lorenzo "Serge" Pizzorno (born 15 December 1980) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, artist, and record producer. He is best known as the co-founder, guitarist, and second vocalist of the rock band Kasabian, for whom he became the primary songwriter after the departure of Christopher Karloff in 2006 and the sole vocalist following the firing of Tom Meighan in 2020. Aitor Throup
Aitor Throup (born 1980, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an artist, designer and creative director. Throup is best known for his menswear label 'New Object Research' which has shown at London Fashion Week Men's. Throup's G-Star Raw Research line is shown during Paris Fashion Week in a gallery setting. His work for, and collaborations with, Damon Albarn, Kasabian, Flying Lotus, Umbro, C.P.
