This is a list of events held and scheduled by Bellator MMA (formerly known as "Bellator Fighting Championships"), a mixed martial arts organization based in the United States. The first event, Bellator 1, took place on April 3, 2009. Upcoming events are italicized. Events * Bellator 3 and 4 was entirely just one fight card on one night, but were divided in two half-hour episodes that aired on ESPN Deportes via tape delay later. Bellator MMA
Bellator MMA (formerly Bellator Fighting Championships) was an American mixed martial arts promotion (entertainment), promotion founded in 2008 by Bjorn Rebney and operated until 2025. The promotion takes its name from ''wikt:bellator, bellātor'', the Latin word for "warrior". Bellator's first event was in 2009, and the promotion held List of Bellator MMA events, 313 "numbered" events. At one point, Bellator was considered the second largest MMA promotion in the United States, and one of the largest combat sports, combat sport promotions in the world. Paramount Global (formerly Viacom (2005–2019), Viacom) purchased majority ownership of Bellator from Rebney in 2011, with Paramount's television networks serving as the promotion's media broadcasters in the United States. Sanford Pentagon
The Sanford Pentagon (colloquially known as The Pentagon) is an indoor arena located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Pentagon opened in September 2013 and has a seating capacity of 3,250 spectators. It hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. The facility is known for hosting a wide range of sporting events including: regional youth basketball tournaments, NCAA Division I basketball games, NCAA Division II basketball games and tournaments, mixed martial arts events, and occasional concerts. ''Bellator 298: Storley vs. Ward'' was a mixed martial arts event produced by Bellator MMA that took place on August 11, 2023, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States. Background The event marked the promotion's fourth visit to Sioux Falls and first since Bellator 284 in August 2022. A welterweight bout between former interim Bellator Welterweight Champion Logan Storley and Brennan Ward headlined the event. The event also features a heavyweight bout between former Interim Heavyweight Champion Valentin Moldavsky and Steve Mowry. Background The event marked the promotion's 10th visit to Dublin and first since Bellator 291 in February 2023. A Bellator Middleweight World Championship bout between current champion Johnny Eblen and Fabian Edwards headlined the event. A women's featherweight bout between Sinead Kavanagh and Sara Collins took place at the event. Khasan Magomedsharipov was scheduled to face Martin McDonough in the featherweight bout, however his opponent pulled out and was replaced by Piotr Niedzielski. Kingdom Arena (), formerly known as Boulevard Hall () during construction, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Hittin neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
