Leonding
Leonding () is a town southwest of Linz in the States of Austria, Austrian state of Upper Austria. It borders Puchenau and the river Danube in the north, Wilhering and Pasching in the west, Traun in the south and Linz in the east. Leonding is the most populous town of the Linz-Land_District, Linz-Land district and the fourth most populous town in Upper Austria. It is very close to Linz and offers views of the Alps and therefore attracts the upper social classes for living without providing much infrastructure on its own. Due to the proximity of Linz and transport connections (like West railway (Austria), West railway, Westautobahn, ''B1 Wiener Straße'' or Linz Airport) it attracts companies like Rosenbauer, Ebner Industrieofenbau, Poloplast and Neuson. Wilhering
Wilhering (Central Bavarian: ''Wilaring'') is a municipality in the district Linz-Land in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. Its slogan is "culture and life". There is the Wilhering Abbey, a Cistercian Abbey, and a Rococo church, and woods around. The Cisterican Abbey was established in the 1146 and was then rebuilt after it had been burnt down. It contains sketches and paintings by Austrian Baroque painters. The church has a Rococo interior which is one of the best examples of this style in Austria. Sankt Florian
Sankt Florian (also ''Florian'' or ''St. Florian'') is a town in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is 10 miles (16 km) from Linz. Sankt Florian is the home of St. Florian Monastery, a community of Canons Regular named after Saint Florian and one of the oldest operational monasteries in the world following the Rule of St. Augustine. Composer Anton Bruckner (1824–96), who was a choirboy and later organist in the town, is buried beneath the organ inside the monastic church, which was elevated to the rank of basilica minor in 1999. Pasching
Pasching is a municipality in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is situated a few miles southwest of Linz and borders Leonding, Hörsching, Wilhering and Traun. Situated along the famous ''shopping mile'' the Kremstal Straße, it is the home of many retailers. One of the biggest shopping centers in Austria, the Plus City is located in Pasching. Due to the vicinity of Linz many smaller industries have settled down here too. A major problem in Pasching is the heavy traffic along the ''Kremstal Straße'' especially around the shopping center. A by-pass has partially already been built from Traun to the ''Plus City''. The rest of it is readily planned but a conflict on the financing of the construction between the affected municipalities of Pasching and Leonding and the Republic of Austria as the owner of the street delays the start of construction.
