Parrot OS
Parrot OS is a Linux distribution based on Debian with a focus on security, privacy, and development. Core Parrot is based on Debian's "stable" branch, with a Linux 6.1 kernel. It follows a LTS development model. The desktop environment is MATE, and the default display manager is LightDM. Off-the-record Messaging (OTR) is a cryptographic protocol that provides encryption for instant messaging conversations. OTR uses a combination of Advanced Encryption Standard, AES symmetric-key algorithm with 128 bits key length, the Diffie–Hellman key exchange with 1536 bits group size, and the SHA-1 hash function. In addition to authentication and encryption, OTR provides forward secrecy and Malleability (cryptography), malleable encryption.
