Linus Rönnberg
Linus Rönnberg (born 13 January 2003) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a winger for II liga club Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Club career Rönnberg played in his native Finland for Inter Turku, Ilves, Turun Palloseura (TPS) and Järvenpään Palloseura (JäPS). He played mostly in the second-tiers Ykkönen and Ykkösliiga, third-tier Kakkonen and fourth-tier Kolmonen, and made four appearances for Ilves in Veikkausliiga in 2021. On 10 July 2024, Rönnberg moved to Poland and signed with II liga club Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, starting from the 2024–25 season. He debuted with his new team in the league on 21 July 2024, in a 0–0 draw against Olimpia Elbląg, being named the Player of the Game per voting by the supporters. International career Rönnberg has represented Finland at under-16 and under-17 youth international levels.

Veikkausliiga () is a professional association football league in Finland and the highest level of the Finnish football league system. The league comprises the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. The 2024–25 II liga (also known as Betclic II liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 17th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. 2023 Ykkönen
The 2023 Ykkönen was the 52nd season of Ykkönen, the second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 14 April 2023 and ended on 7 October 2023. It was the final season of the Ykkönen serving as the second-tier football league in Finland, following its demotion to third-tier. Twelve teams contested the league. The champions ( EIF) and runners-up ( Gnistan) were promoted to the 2024 Veikkausliiga. The second, third, and fourth-placed teams (Gnistan, MP, and SJK Akatemia) qualified for the Veikkausliiga play-off. The bottom two teams ( JJK and KPV) were relegated to the 2024 Ykkönen. The sixth-placed team (HIFK) dissolved after the season finished due to bankruptcy, giving the tenth-placed team ( KäPa) a reprieve from relegation. The 2021 Veikkausliiga was the 91st season of top-tier football in Finland. HJK were the defending champions and successfully defended their title. Teams RoPS (relegated after eight years in the top flight) were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2020 season. Their place was taken by Ykkönen champions AC Oulu (promoted after a ten-year absence). The Finnish League Cup (in Finnish: ''Liigacup''), is a knock-out football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The competition is notably the only football competition in Europe which is mostly played indoors. It is also administrated by Veikkausliiga History The competition was founded in 1994.
