M (New York City Subway Service)
The M Queens Boulevard/Sixth Avenue Local is a rapid transit service in the B Division of the New York City Subway. Its route emblem, or "bullet", is colored since it is a part of the IND Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan. The M operates 24 hours daily, although service patterns vary based on the time of day. Weekday rush hour and midday service operates between 71st Avenue in Forest Hills and Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village, Queens and makes all stops along the full route through Manhattan and Brooklyn; weekday evening and weekend daytime service short turns at Essex Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and does not operate to or from 71st Avenue. Overnight service operates as a shuttle between Metropolitan Avenue in Queens and Myrtle Avenue–Broadway in Brooklyn. Mattapan Line
The Mattapan Line (alternatively the Mattapan Trolley and historically the Ashmont–Mattapan High-Speed Line) is a partially grade separation, grade-separated light rail line which forms part of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, MBTA's Red Line (MBTA), Red Line rapid transit line. The line, which runs through Boston and Milton, Massachusetts, opened on August 26, 1929, as a conversion of a former commuter rail line. It exclusively uses PCC streetcars built in the 1940s. Passengers must transfer at Ashmont (MBTA station), Ashmont to access the rest of the Red Line, which uses heavy rail metro rolling stock. The M Ocean View is a light rail line that is part of the Muni Metro system in San Francisco, California. Named after the Oceanview neighborhood, it runs between San Jose and Geneva and Embarcadero station, connecting Oceanview, San Francisco State University, and Stonestown Galleria with the city center. The Minatomirai 21 Line (みなとみらい21線 ''Minato-mirai-21-sen''), commonly known as the Minatomirai Line (みなとみらい線 ''Minatomirai-sen''), is a subway line in Yokohama, Japan that runs from Yokohama Station to Motomachi-Chūkagai Station through the Minatomirai 21 business district.
