Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Limerick PIHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Limerick GAA, Limerick County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking intermediate clubs in the County Limerick, county of Limerick in Ireland. It is the second tier overall in the entire Limerick hurling championship system. The Limerick Premier Intermediate Championship was introduced in 2014 Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, 2014 following a split in the existing Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship. It was the fourth adult county championship to come into existence in Limerick. 2024 Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2024 Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 11th staging of the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Limerick GAA, Limerick County Board in 2014 Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, 2014. The draws for the group stage pairings took place on 6 February 2024. The championship ran from 25 July to 27 October 2024. The #Final, final was played on 27 October 2024 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick GAA, Limerick, between Newcastle West GAA, Newcastle West and Garryspillane GAA, Garryspillane, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Limerick Senior Hurling Championship
The Limerick Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bon Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Limerick SHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Limerick County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking senior clubs in the county of Limerick in Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition in Limerick hurling. The series of games are played during the summer and autumn months with the county final currently being played at the Gaelic Grounds in October. The prize for the winning team is the John Daly Cup. Initially played as a knock-out competition, the championship currently uses a round robin format followed by a knock-out stage. Hospital-Herbertstown is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and football club in County Limerick, Ireland, and is based in the South Division. Garryspillane GAA club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parish of Knocklong/Glenbrohane, County Limerick, Ireland. The club was founded in 1952 and is almost exclusively concerned with hurling with footballers catered for by neighbouring Galbally. Croom GAA club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Croom, County Limerick, Ireland. The club was founded in 1884 and fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football. 2014 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship
The 2014 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship was the 120th staging of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Limerick County Board in 1887. The championship began on 2 May 2014 and ended on 19 October 2014. Na Piarsaigh were the defending champions. However, they were defeated in the final by Kilmallock, who won by 1–15 to 0–14. Na Piarsaigh had earlier defeated Kilmallock in the group stage. Knockainey and Granagh-Ballingarry were relegated from the championship. The Limerick Junior A Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Woodlands House Hotel County Junior A Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Limerick JAHC) is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Limerick GAA exclusively for junior hurling clubs in County Limerick. The winner qualifies to represent the county in the Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship.
