Lilián Jesús Villanueva Chan is a Mexican model who became the only woman from her country to be crowned ''International Queen of Flowers'' and competed in Nuestra Belleza México 2000, obtaining the title of Nuestra Belleza Internacional México. Nuestra Belleza México 2000 Born in Quintana Roo and raised in Chetumal, she represented her state and competed against forty-three other contestants for the national beauty title of Mexico, Nuestra Belleza México 2000, held in Apizaco, Tlaxcala on September 2, 2000. Miss International (''Miss International Beauty'' or ''The International Beauty Pageant'') is a Japan-based international major beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the fourth largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, the pageant is one of the Big Four beauty pageants. ''Nuestra'' is the debut studio album of the Venezuelan rock band La Vida Bohème, released in August 2010. Recorded and produced by Rudy Pagliuca, it is a free download on the website of the record label All of the Above. The album was nominated for "Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album" in the 54th Grammy Awards. The two singles from this album are "Radio Capital" and "Danz!". Background and recording The album was recorded in Caracas in 2009, on fairly independent terms. Guitarist Daniel De Sousa happened to be studying engineering at the time, and took on designing a distortion pedal that was used on the album. The Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country's delegates to Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm, and Miss Orb International. The current Mexicana Universal is Melissa Flores of Michoacán, who represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2023 but was unplaced. The organization is directed by the nation's first Miss Universe titleholder, Lupita Jones (1991), who originally produced the pageant as Nuestra Belleza México in association with the Televisa TV network. Nuestra Belleza México 2000, the 7th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Emilio Sánchez Piedras of Apizaco, Tlaxcala, Mexico on September 2, 2000. Forty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Jacqueline Bracamontes from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2001 in Puerto Rico. Bracamontes was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Leticia Murray. She was the first Jalisciense and the second winner of foreign descent (her maternal grandparents are Belgian) and the third blonde to win this Title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was assumed by Paulina Flores from Sinaloa after Jacqueline Bracamontes won the right to compete in Miss Universe.
