Libor Vondráček
Libor Vondráček (born 29 July 1994) is a Czech politician who has served as chairman of Svobodní since October 2019. Early life and education As part of his studies, Vondráček focused on constitutional law, which culminated in the submission of his diploma thesis "Majority-forming elements in the electoral formula of proportional representation on the example of elections in the Czech Republic" under the guidance of the author of electoral laws, . Political career In the 2017 Czech parliamentary election, Vondráček received the most preferential votes in the fifth place among the regional candidates, which was unsuccessful for Svobodní as the party won only 1.56% of the votes. Vondráček finished second place with four mandates in the 2018 Senate election, but failed due to a situation where two veteran candidates jumped ahead of him. Tomáš Pajonk
Tomáš Pajonk (born 11 August 1981 in Havířov) is a Czech politician and businessman. He was the leader of the Party of Free Citizens. Biography Pajonk was born in 1981. He studied at the University of Economics, Prague. He later started his own business, and in 2012 he joined Party of Free Citizens. He soon became the leader of the party's Zlín regional branch. He stood in the 2016 regional election and became a member of the Zlín regional assembly. Pajonk ran for party's leadership in November 2017. South Bohemian Region
The South Bohemian Region () is an administrative unit (''Regions of the Czech Republic, kraj'') of the Czech Republic, located mostly in the southern part of its historical land of Bohemia, with a small part in southwestern Moravia. 2020 Czech Regional Elections
Elections to regional councils in the Czech Republic in 13 regions (except Prague) were held on 2–3 October 2020. Background ANO 2011 won the previous election. Czech Social Democratic Party saw heavy losses and came second. 2017 Czech legislative election resulted in another victory of ANO 2011 while Social Democrats were reduced to 6th place. 2019 European Parliament Election In The Czech Republic
The 2019 European Parliament election in the Czech Republic was held on 24 and 25 May 2019, electing the 21 members of the Czech delegation to the European Parliament as part of the European elections held across the European Union. The result was a victory of the populist ruling party ANO ( ALDE), with 21.18 per cent and 6 seats, 2 more seats than in 2014 election. Followed by conservative ODS ( ECR), with 14.54 per cent and 4 seats, marking a notable growth in the election. The Pirate Party also made major gains. SPD ( ENF) gained seats in its first European election, while KDU-ČSL (EPP), TOP 09/ STAN ( EPP) and KSČM ( GUE/NGL) lost seats.
