Li Xinggang
Li Xinggang (b. 1969) is a Chinese architect and the founding principal of Atelier Li Xinggang (since 2003). He is the Chief Architect of China Architecture Design & Research Group, and a professor at Tianjin University. He was honored with the Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize (2020), regarded as China's highest architectural accolade for individual achievement. In 2023, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Li is renowned for his design of the Yanqing venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, his role as the lead Chinese architect in collaboration with Herzog & de Meuron on the Beijing National Stadium, 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium. His works have garnered numerous accolades, including the RIBA Lubetkin Prize, IOC/IAKS Architecture Prizes (Joint Gold Award). Anhui is an inland Provinces of China, province located in East China. Its provincial capital and largest city is Hefei. Bobsleigh or bobsled is a winter sport in which teams of 2 to 4 athletes make timed speed runs down narrow, twisting, banked, iced tracks in a gravity-powered sleigh. International bobsleigh competitions are governed by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (formerly the FIBT). The City Wall of Nanjing was designed by the Hongwu Emperor (1328–1398) after he founded the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) and established Nanjing as the capital in 1368.
