Les Seiler
Les Seiler (born March 10, 1941) is a politician from the U.S. state of Nebraska. A resident of Hastings, Seiler represented the 33rd District in the Nebraska Legislature. __NOTOC__ Seiler was born on March 10, 1941, in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He attended Wayne State College, earning a B.A. in 1960. He received his J.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law in 1966. In 1966–67, he worked as a Nebraska Assistant Attorney General and in 1968-69 he worked as the Assistant General Counsel for the Metropolitan Utilities District. As of 2012, he worked as a lawyer at Seiler & Parker, P.C., in Hastings, Nebraska. Seiler's 33rd District includes Adams County and portions of Hall County. Hall County is a county in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 58,607, making it Nebraska's fourth-most populous county. Its county seat is Grand Island. The county was formed in 1858; it was named for Augustus Hall, an early judge of this territory. David Eugene Heineman (born May 12, 1948) is an American politician who served as the 39th governor of Nebraska from 2005 to 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he previously was the 39th treasurer of Nebraska from 1995 to 2001 and 37th lieutenant governor of Nebraska from 2001 to 2005. Steve Halloran
Steve Halloran (born June 29, 1948) is an American politician who has served in the Nebraska Legislature from the 33rd district since 2017. Career In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Halloran was president of the Nebraska branch of the National Farmers Organization. In this role, Halloran was critical of US President Ronald Reagan's agricultural policy as being too favorable to ranchers and food processors and unfavorable to grain-growing farmers. Halloran was elected president of the NFO in December 1991. In that position, he advocated farmer cooperation and the development of domestic grain consumption over grain exporting. By 2006, however, Halloran had retired from farming and was co-owner of a HuHot Mongolian Grill restaurant in Billings, Montana. Red Cloud is a city in and the county seat of Webster County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 962 at the 2020 census. History The region of present-day Red Cloud was intermittently occupied and used as hunting grounds by the Pawnees until 1833. In that year, a treaty was signed in which the Pawnees surrendered their lands south of the Platte River.
