Lee Evans (darts Player)
Lee Evans (born 18 October 1988) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career 2015 Evans failed to get a PDC Tour Card for 2015 after he could not get past the last 64 on any of the four days of Q-School. However, he did qualify for the 2015 UK Open, where he defeated Nick Fulwell and Ronny Huybrechts, before losing 9–4 to Vincent van der Voort in the third round, after being 4–1 ahead. Evans won the Gosport Open by beating Richard Kirby 4–1. In October he played in the European Darts Grand Prix and knocked out Jyhan Artut 6–3 and Terry Jenkins 6–4 to reach the last 16 of a PDC event for the first time, where he lost 6–3 to Ian White. 2016 Evans began 2016 by twice reaching the last 16 in the UK Open Qualifiers. Swindon
Swindon () is a town in Wiltshire, England. At the time of the 2021 Census the population of the built-up area was 183,638, making it the largest settlement in the county. 2015 European Darts Grand Prix
The 2015 European Darts Grand Prix was the ninth of nine PDC European Tour events on the 2015 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place in Glaspalast in Sindelfingen, Germany between 16–18 October 2015. It featured a field of 48 players and £115,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Mervyn King was the defending champion, but he lost in the third round to Mensur Suljović. Kim Huybrechts defeated Peter Wright 6–5 in the final, coming back from 5–2 down in the process to win his second European title. Prize money The prize fund was increased to £115,000 after being £100,000 for the previous two years. Qualification and format The top 16 players from thPDC ProTour Order of Merit on 17 September automatically qualified for the event and were seeded in the second round. 2024 International Darts Open
The 2024 International Darts Open, known as the 2024 NEO.bet International Darts Open for sponsorship reasons, was a professional darts tournament that took place at the SACHSENarena in Riesa, Germany from 12 to 14 April 2024. It was the third of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2024 PDC Pro Tour. It featured a field of 48 players and £175,000 in prize money, with £30,000 going to the winner. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion after defeating Michael van Gerwen 8–4 in the 2023 final. Martin Schindler won his first European Tour title and first senior PDC title overall, beating Gerwyn Price 8–5 in the final. Schindler became the third German player to win a senior PDC title. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, 10 in 2016, 12 in 2017, 13 in both 2018 and 2019. There were 13 scheduled in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic). Only two events took place in 2021, with a return to 13 events in 2022, 2023 and 2024, then 14 in 2025. These events see the top players on the PDC Order of Merit and PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from a tour card holder qualifier and three different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £175,000, with £30,000 going to the winner. Luke Humphries (born 11 February 1995) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked PDC Order of Merit, world number one. He is a former PDC World Darts Championship, PDC World Champion, having won the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, 2024 World Championship, defeating Luke Littler in the final. He is the reigning World Matchplay (darts), World Matchplay, Premier League Darts, Premier League, Players Championship Finals and PDC World Masters, World Masters champion.
