Lee Barkell
Lee Barkell originally from Kirkland Lake, Ontario is a Canadian figure skating coach, working with both singles and pairs, and a former competitive pair skater. With Melanie Gaylor, he won gold at the 1986 Fujifilm Trophy, 1986 Nebelhorn Trophy, and 1986 Grand Prix International St. Gervais. Career Barkell competed in pair skating during the 1980s, in partnership with Melanie Gaylor. The pair won three international competitions — the 1986 Fujifilm Trophy, 1986 Nebelhorn Trophy and 1986 Grand Prix International St. Gervais. The duo received two Canadian national medals in the fours discipline — bronze in 1987 with Cynthia Coull / Mark Rowsom and silver in 1988 with Michelle Menzies / Kevin Wheeler. 2011 Rostelecom Cup
The 2011 Rostelecom Cup was the final event of six in the 2011–12 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Christopher Mabee
Christopher Mabee (born August 26, 1985) is a Canadian retired competitive figure skater. He is the 2007 Canadian national silver medalist. He announced his retirement from competitive skating in December, 2008. Early career Christopher Mabee was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario. He began skating at age seven. Mabee was coached by Paul Wirtz for a year in Montreal but, after being injured in 1998, he moved back home to be closer to his family. Mabee then trained at the Mariposa School of Skating in Barrie, Ontario, under Lee Barkell and Doug Leigh. Mabee won the silver medal on the novice level at nationals in 1998. He was sent to the Triglav Trophy that year and placed 5th on the novice level. Mabee went junior the next season and placed 4th at nationals in 1999. Roman Sadovsky (born May 31, 1999) is a Canadian figure skater and YouTuber. Representing Canada, he competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics. He is the 2019 NHK Trophy bronze medallist, the 2018 CS Alpen Trophy silver medallist, the 2022 CS Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, the 2020 Canadian national champion, and the 2022 Canadian national silver medallist. Joey Russell (born June 24, 1988 in Labrador City) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. Lenny Faustino (born May 29, 1979) is a Canadian former Pair skating, pair skater. With Jacinthe Larivière, 2003 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, Canadian national champion and represented Canada at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games. They were coached by Lee Barkell in Barrie, Ontario. Faustino retired from competition in 2004. He is a graduate of York University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing Honours and also holds a Diploma from Georgian College in Business - Marketing. Andrew Evans (born October 22, 1988) is a Canadian pair skater. With Carolyn MacCuish, he placed 8th at the 2007 World Junior Championships. Personal life Evans was born on October 22, 1988, in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. He studied nanotech engineering at the University of Waterloo. Career Evans originally competed as a single skater. He decided to concentrate on pairs after not making it to the Canadian nationals as a single skater. He teamed up with Carolyn MacCuish in March 2004. Cody Hay
Cody Hay (born July 28, 1983) is a Canadian retired pair skater. With Anabelle Langlois, he is the 2008 Canadian national champion. He is now a coach with Langlois. Career Cody Hay teamed up with Annabelle Langlois in 2005. The pair finished 4th at the 2006 Skate America. They were forced to withdraw from their second event, 2006 Cup of Russia, because the airline lost Langlois' skates.
