The A1 motorway () is a partially built motorway in Romania, planned to connect Bucharest with the Banat and Crișana regions in the western part of the country and the rest of Europe. When completed it will be 581 kilometers long and it will span the country on the approximative south-east to north west direction. The motorway starts in the western part of Bucharest and connects the following major cities: Pitești, Sibiu, Deva, Romania, Deva, Timișoara, Arad, Romania, Arad, reaching Hungary's M43 motorway (Hungary), M43 motorway near Nădlac. As the motorway is built along the Trans-European Transport Networks Rhine-Danube Corridor the construction receives 85% funding from the European Union. The road is part of the proposed Via Carpathia, Via Carpatia route. As of June 2025, the combined length of the opened sections totals 487 kilometers, with all the remaining sections under construction. Centrul Civic (; "the Civic Centre") is a district in central Bucharest, Romania, which was completely rebuilt in the 1980s as part of the scheme of systematization under the dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, which included the construction of new civic centres in the Romanian cities. Ana Blandiana (; pen name of Otilia Valeria Coman; born 25 March 1942) is a Romanian poet, essayist, and political figure. She took her name after Blandiana, near Vințu de Jos, Alba County, her mother's home village. In October 2017, she was announced as The Griffin Trust For Excellence In Poetry's twelfth recipient of their Lifetime Recognition Award. In October 2024, her literary work was recognised with the Princess of Asturias Award. Literary career Ana Blandiana was born Otilia Valeria Coman on 25 March 1942. Realitatea TV (, meaning "The Reality TV") is the former name of the Romanian news television channel Realitatea Plus.
