LSU–Shreveport Pilots
The LSU–Shreveport Pilots (or LSUS Pilots) are the athletic teams that represent Louisiana State University Shreveport, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) since the 2010–11 academic year. The Pilots previously competed in the HBCU Athletic Conference, Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) from 2000–01 to 2009–10. Accomplishments The LSU–Shreveport athletic program has produced many championship teams collecting one national championship, nine regular season conference titles, sixteen conference tournament championships, and competed in thirty-one NAIA National Tournaments. Major League Baseball Draft
The Major League Baseball draft (officially the Rule 4 Draft; also known as the first-year player draft or amateur draft) is the primary mechanism by which Major League Baseball (MLB) assigns amateur baseball players from high schools, colleges, and other amateur baseball clubs to its teams. The draft order is determined by a lottery system, starting in 2023, where teams that did not make the postseason in the previous year participate in a state-lottery style process to determine the first six picks. Harris Field
Harris Field is a college baseball Baseball park, park in the Western United States, western United States, located in Lewiston, Idaho. An on-campus venue with a seating capacity of 5,000, it is the home field of the Lewis–Clark State College#Baseball, Warriors of Lewis–Clark State College, a top program in National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The NAIA World Series (officially branded as the Avista NAIA World Series for sponsorship purposes from 2013) is a double-elimination tournament, held since 1957, to determine the baseball champion of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Since 2000, the tournament has been held at Harris Field on the campus of Lewis–Clark State College (LCSC) in Lewiston, Idaho, having previously hosted from 1984 to 1991. The Red River Athletic Conference is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
