Kyle Lobstein
Kyle Eric Lobstein (born August 12, 1989) is an Americans, American professional baseball pitcher for the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Detroit Tigers in 2014, and has also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals. Personal life Lobstein is a native of Flagstaff, Arizona, and attended Coconino High School. As a 9-year old, Kyle was coached in youth basketball by future ESPN and Comcast SportsNet Houston anchor Steve Bunin. Professional career Tampa Bay Rays The Tampa Bay Rays selected Lobstein in the second round, 47th overall, of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Steve Bunin (born in Seattle, Washington) is a former ESPN Anchor, a five-time Emmy Award winner and a 16-time Emmy nominee. He is now an Executive Communications Coach for companies around the world. Career Bunin was a news anchor at KING-TV from 2017-2022. He earned Emmy nominations for Best News Anchor in each of his six years, the only anchor in the Northwest to be honored six consecutive times. (He won the award in 2021). Bunin was an anchor at ESPN from 2003 to 2012, hosting a variety of shows, most frequently ''Outside The Lines'', ''SportsCenter'' and '' College Football Live''. Toledo Mud Hens
The Toledo Mud Hens are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. They are located in Toledo, Ohio, and play their home games at Fifth Third Field. A Mud Hens team has played in Toledo for most seasons since 1896, including a 50-year history as a member of the now defunct American Association. The current franchise was established in 1965. They joined Triple-A East in 2021, but this was renamed the International League in 2022. Background Professional baseball had been played off and on in Toledo since 1883, and the Mud Hens era began in 1896 with the "Swamp Angels", who played in the Interstate League. The Erie SeaWolves are an American professional baseball team based in Erie, Pennsylvania. They compete in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) as a member of the Eastern League's Southwest Division, serving as the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The team was founded in and began playing in Erie for the season. The SeaWolves currently play their home games at UPMC Park in downtown Erie, a part of the Louis J. Curtis Michael Casali (born November 9, 1988), is an American professional baseball catcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball at Vanderbilt University, and was selected in the 10th round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers. He made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Tampa Bay Rays, and has also played for the San Francisco Giants, and Seattle Mariners. The Montgomery Biscuits are a Minor League Baseball team based in Montgomery, Alabama. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and play in the Southern League. The Charlotte Stone Crabs were a Minor League Baseball team located in Port Charlotte, Florida, from 2009 to 2020. They competed in the Florida State League (FSL) as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball (MLB) team. They played their home games at Charlotte Sports Park and were named for the Florida stone crab, which is indigenous to the Charlotte County region. The Stone Crabs arrived in Port Charlotte in 2009 after the Vero Beach Devil Rays were purchased by Ripken Baseball and relocated from Vero Beach, Florida. They played 11 seasons in Port Charlotte. The Bowling Green Hot Rods are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
