Kwes (; sometimes stylised as ''kwes'', ''kwes.'', ''Kwes.'' or '' =o'' ) is a British music producer and artist from London, England. Kwes is also currently signed to Warp as a solo artist and released his debut album, '' ilp'' in October 2013. Biography Kwes began playing his grandparents' organ at the age of four and his grandmother bought him his first small keyboard aged 5. Young (formerly known as Young Turks) is a British independent record label that sits in the Beggars Group of labels launched by Caius Pawson in 2006. It has grown from an imprint of XL Recordings into a successful and influential label now partnered with XL and operates across a range of genres. The label's current roster includes The xx, FKA twigs, Sampha, Jamie xx, Koreless and Kamasi Washington. History In 2004, Caius Pawson supplied DJs and sound equipment for a series of all-night dance parties he called Young Turks. Sampha Lahai Sisay (born 16 November 1988) is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer from Morden, South London. Tirzah is an English singer-songwriter. Her first solo record, the EP ''I'm Not Dancing'' was released in 2013 on Greco-Roman. In 2014, she released the EP ''No Romance'', followed by her single "Make It Up" in 2015. Her debut studio album, '' Devotion'', was released in 2018 on Domino. Her second studio album '' Colourgrade'' was released on 1 October 2021, also on Domino. Personal life Tirzah was born in Braintree, Essex as the youngest of five children.
