The Kumite 1 League (K1L) is a mixed martial arts league and martial arts promotion, based in Mumbai, India. The league is supported by the World Kickboxing Network and backed by Toyam Industries. Kumite 1 League debuted its inaugural season on 28 September 2018 in Mumbai and Mike Tyson was appointed as the brand ambassador of the event. History Kumite 1 League was founded by Mohamedali Budhwani in 2017, with the purpose to promote and popularise the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in India. Bappi Aparesh Lahiri (born Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri; 27 November 1952 – 15 February 2022), also known as Bappi Da was an Indian singer, composer and record producer. He popularised the use of synthesised disco music in Indian music industry and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks.
