Kovil (film)
''Kovil'' () is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Hari and produced by A. M. Rathnam. It stars Silambarasan and Sonia Agarwal while Vadivelu, Rajkiran, Charle and Nassar play supporting roles. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj, with editing done by V. T. Vijayan and cinematography by Priyan. The film released on 14 January 2004 and was released to positive reviews from critics and audience. The film was a super hit. It was dubbed into Telugu as ''Rudrudu''. Plot Puliyankulam and Veppankulam are nearby villages with an enmity lasting for a few generations. Hari (director)
Hari Gopalakrishnan is an Indian film director best known for his action and masala films in Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with '' Thamizh'' (2002). He later directed films such as '' Saamy'' (2003), '' Kovil'' (2004), '' Ayya'' (2005), ''Thaamirabharani'' (2007), '' Vel'' (2007) and the '' Singam film series'' (2010-2017). He mostly directed Coimbatore, Dindigul, Tenkasi and Thoothukudi-Tirunelveli district based movies. Early life Hari was born in the Thoothukudi district in Tamil Nadu, India. Nagercoil
Nagercoil, also spelt as Nagarkovil ("Temple of the Nāgas", or Nagaraja-Temple), is a city and the administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu state, India. ''Saamy'' ( God) is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language action masala film written and directed by Hari. The film was presented by K. Balachander and produced by Pushpa Kandasamy under banner Kavithalayaa Productions. The film stars Vikram and Trisha and Kota Srinivasa Rao (debut in Tamil cinema) in a negative role. Snehan
Snehan (born Sivaselvam) is a Tamil poet, politician, lyricist, and actor who has worked in the Tamil film industry. In the year 2018 he entered politics with Makkal Needhi Maiam and contested in the Lok Sabha election. In 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, he contested on behalf of Makkal Needhi Maiam as a candidate for Virugambakkam Constituency. Paravai Muniyamma
Paravai Muniyamma (25 June 1937 – 29 March 2020) was an Indian folk singer and actress. She got the adjective Paravai as she was born in a village called Paravai in Madurai. She featured in many Tamil films mostly in supporting roles and also worked as a playback singer. Muniyamma also had her own cooking show on Kalaignar TV. She was introduced by music director Vidyasagar in the Tamil film industry. Singamuthu (born 8 December 1958) is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films as a comedian. Career Singamuthu has primarily appeared in comedy roles in films as a supporting actor debuting in ''Neram Nalla Irukku'' (1987). He started developing his career in the acting sector by doing small comedy roles in cinemas. He often shared screen space with popular comedian Vadivelu, and the duo has given many hilarious comedy scenes to Tamil movies.
