Kjell Lindstrand is a former Swedish footballer, who between 1959 and 1971 represented Landskrona BoIS at 393 occasions Twelve of these was qualifying matches for promotion to the Swedish top league Allsvenskan, a Swedish record. In 1965 he was awarded the gold medal for sport achievements by the city of Landskrona Landskrona (old da, Landskrone) is a town in Scania, Sweden. Landskrona Boll och Idrottsällskap ( en, Landskrona Ball and Sports Society, locally referred to as BoIS) is a Sweden, Swedish professional Football club (association football), football club located in Landskrona, Scania, which currently plays in Superettan, the second league tier of football in Sweden. The club was formed on 7 February 1915 through the merger of two Landskrona clubs, ''IFK Landskrona'' and ''Landskrona BK'' (earlier known as Diana BK). Landskrona BoIS was one of the twelve teams participating in the 1924–25 Allsvenskan, inaugural Allsvenskan season in 1924–25. Since then, they have participated in 34 seasons in Allsvenskan and 54 seasons in the second highest division. Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Allsvenskan is ranked 23rd in the UEFA coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the last five years.
