Kinniku Shōjo Tai
, also known as , is a Japanese rock band. They became very popular in the late 1980s through the late 1990s. In 1999 they disbanded, but then in 2006 they regrouped. History Independent years In 1979 when Vocalist Kenji Ōtsuki and Bassist Yūichirō Uchida were Junior High School students, they started the band called "Dotechins" (This name was from Kenji Ōtsuki's Junior High School nickname) and this band was a precursor of Kinniku Shōjo Tai. In February 1982 after they disbanded Dotechins and became high school students, they started a new band, "Kinniku Shōnen Shōjo Tai". On April 6 the same year, they debuted in the independent music scene, and changed the band name to "Kinniku Shōjo Tai". In March 1986, the original keyboardist Edozō Mishiba joined the band, and this year the band has gotten a high ability and evaluation. Ichirou Mizuki
, better known by his stage name , was a Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, voice actor and actor best known for his work on theme songs for anime and tokusatsu. For over 50 years, he had recorded over 1,200 songs for Japanese film, television, video and video games. He was referred to by fans and fellow performers alike as the of the '' anison'', or anime music genre. He produced the singing duo Apple Pie since 1990 and created the Anison band JAM Project in 2000. Biography Career Mizuki was born in Setagaya, Tokyo. In January 1968, he signed to the Nippon Columbia label and released his first single called "Kimi ni sasageru Boku no Uta", composed by Kanae Wada. Yōsui Inoue
is a Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, guitarist and record producer, who is an important figure in Japanese music. "Hailed as the Bob Dylan of Japan .. He is renowned for his unique tone, eccentric lyrics, and dark sunglasses which he always wears. Under the stage name Andre Candre, Inoue debuted in 1969 and released a single "Candre Mandre" by CBS Sony Records. After he changed his stage name and signed onto Polydor, he recorded his first studio album '' Danzetsu'' in 1971, and the album was acclaimed by critics. Inoue gained recognition as a folk-rock singer-songwriter through his 1973 '' Kōri no Sekai'' album, which became the first long-playing record that sold more than a million copies in Japan alone. are a Japanese heavy metal band from Osaka, who released their first album in 1999. History They play quite orthodox heavy metal music, mixed with elements from Japanese folk and pop music, and play both fast, hard songs and slow ballads. Rebecca (レベッカ) was a Japanese rock band that had a great deal of success throughout the 1980s, fronted by singer Nokko. The band's 1985 album "Rebecca IV ~maybe tomorrow~" sold one million copies in the year, surpassing Yuming, the first truly commercially successful rock album in Japan. "Dice" is the third single by Japanese musician hide, released on January 21, 1994. It reached number 6 on the Oricon chart. The B-side is a remix of his previous single " Eyes Love You". The single was certified Gold by the RIAJ in February 1994, and Platinum in February 2020 for sales over 250,000. The single was re-released on December 12, 2007, with a new cover. Hide (musician)
, known professionally as hide, was a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. He achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the rock band X Japan from 1987 to 1997 and a solo artist from 1993 onward. He also formed the United States-based rock supergroup Zilch in 1996. Hide sold millions of records, both solo and as a member of X Japan. X Japan rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s, credited as founders of the Japanese visual kei movement. When they disbanded in 1997, he focused on his solo career which started four years prior and went on to enjoy significant popularity. At the height of his fame, while recording his third studio album and about to launch an international career with the newly formed Zilch, he died in 1998 of what was ruled a suicide by hanging.
