Killmatic
''Killmatic'' is an album by the American hip hop collective Demigodz, released in 2013 by Version Records. It was produced by rapper Apathy (who also serves as executive producer for the album), DJ Premier, Teddy Roxpin, Chumzilla (who also serves as disc jockey for three songs), Snowgoons, Skammadix, Will C, and Marco Polo. Pre-release On November 23, 2011, Celph Titled from Demigodz shared the first single, "Demigodz Is Back" from the Demigodz album entitled as ''Killmatic'' on Facebook. The official video of "Demigodz Is Back" was later released on January 18, 2013. The second single was released on February 5, 2013 called "Dead in the Middle". Release The album debuted at No. 11 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers Albums chart. Post-release The third single called "Worst Nightmare" was released on the same day as the album, March 5, 2013. Demigodz
Demigodz are an American hip hop collective founded by Connecticut rappers Open Mic and Reflex. The group was originally named "The Nobility" but Open Mic renamed the group "The Demigodz" with inspiration from one of his own verses. The group has changed several times through the years. As of 2012, the group consists of; Apathy, Celph Titled, Ryu, Esoteric, Motive, & Blacastan. The group was originally formed in 1990 by Connecticut emcees Open Mic and Reflex. Apathy joined the group after hearing a demo on the University of Connecticut radio station 91.7. The group expanded during the 1990s to include several other members, and they took frequent outings to New York City in order to expose themselves to the East Coast hip hop scene. Celph Titled
Victor Mercer (born November 16, 1980), better known by his stage name Celph Titled, is an American rapper and record producer who is a member of the hip hop supergroup Army of the Pharaohs, as well as the Demigodz along with Connecticut rapper Apathy, Ryu from Get Busy Committee, and rapper Blacastan and Esoteric. Mercer moved to New York City and began working as an in-house producer and A&R. The now-defunct BUDS International and Bronx Science Records released all of his early records on vinyl, including those of his original group, Equilibrium, and singles from his longstanding partner, Apathy. Chad Bromley (born March 8, 1979), better known by his stage name Apathy (formerly "The Alien Tongue"), is a rapper and producer from Willimantic, Connecticut. Christopher Edward Martin (born March 21, 1966), known professionally as DJ Premier (also known as Preemo), is an American record producer and DJ. He is considered one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time. He was half of the hip hop duo Gang Starr—alongside the rapper Guru—and presently forms half of the hip hop duo PRhyme, together with Royce da 5'9". Planetary (rapper)
Mario Collazo (born August 8, 1978), better known by his stage name Planetary, is an American underground rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is one half of the rap duo OuterSpace and a member of Army of the Pharaohs. Snowgoons
History Snowgoons is a German underground hip hop production team composed of DJ Illegal (Manuu Rückert) and Det Gunner (D. Keller). In 2011, producers Sicknature (Jeppe Andersen) from Denmark and J.S. Kuster (Johann Sebastian Kuster) from Germany joined the group. Det and DJ Illegal first started in 1999 as the two original members. In 2006, they decided to a add a third member, Torben from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2008. After Torben left, they decided to add a third member again in the same year, DJ Waxwork from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2009.
