Khulna City Corporation ( bn, খুলনা সিটি কর্পোরেশন - in short: KCC), Khulna Municipality, established in 1884, is one of the major divisional city corporations of Bangladesh. Before its establishment as city corporation, it was a municipal corporation in 1984. Current mayor of KCC is Talukder Abdul Khaleque who was advocated by Bangladesh Awami League. Basically, Khulna City Corporation is a formation under the local government administration of Bangladesh to regulate the city area of Khulna, which is under the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development (LGRD). Khulna
Khulna ( bn, খুলনা, ) is the third-largest city in Bangladesh, after Dhaka and Chittagong. It is the administrative centre of Khulna District and Khulna Division. Sheikh Tayebur Rahman is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Mayor of Khulna. Early life Rahman was born on 21 October 1936 in Bagerhat, East Bengal, British Raj. Career Rahman served as the forest and environment affairs secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. He served as the Mayor of Khulna of 17 years and ten months in three consecutive terms. He was a shareholder and director of Destiny-2000. He was disqualified from contesting in the 2008 Mayoral election of Khulna as he had been convicted of a crime and the election was won by the Awami League backed candidate Md. Moniruzzaman Moni. It was the first time since 1973, when M.A. Bari won, that an Awami League candidate was elected Mayor of Khulna City. Immunization, or immunisation, is the process by which an individual's immune system becomes fortified against an infectious agent (known as the immunogen).
