Football League Second Division
The Football League Second Division was the second level division in the English football league system between 1892 and 1992. Following the foundation of the FA Premier League, the Football League divisions were renumbered and the third tier became known as the Football League Second Division. After the rebranding of the Football League in 2003–04, it became known as Football League One. Rory Delap
Rory John Delap (born 6 July 1976) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in England, he made 11 appearances for the Republic of Ireland national team. Delap started his career at Carlisle United and impressed enough to earn a move to Premiership side Derby County in 1998. In 2001, Delap joined Southampton for a club record of £4 million. After spending five years on the south coast, he moved to Sunderland. Following a brief spell on Wearside, Delap was loaned to Stoke City in October 2006. In just his second match for Stoke, against his parent club Sunderland, Delap suffered a broken leg. Despite this, Delap signed a permanent contract for Stoke in January 2007. He went on to become a vital member of the squad and his long throw-ins helped Stoke gain promotion to the Premier League and consolidate in the league. Andy Quy
Andrew Quy (born 4 July 1976) is an English retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper, most notably in the Conference for Hereford United. After retiring as a footballer, he became a goalkeeping coach and worked with the first team squads at Lincoln City, Stoke City, Brentford and Burton Albion. He is currently assistant coach at Charlotte FC. Playing career Quy was born in Harlow and began his career with Tottenham Hotspur on a YTS contract. After failing to win a professional contract at White Hart Lane, he transferred to Derby County in July 1994 and subsequently spent time out on loan at Stalybridge Celtic. Darren Ferguson (born 9 February 1972) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player, who was most recently the manager of Championship club Peterborough United. In between his stints with Peterborough, he also managed Preston North End and Doncaster Rovers. As a player, Ferguson was managed at Manchester United by his father, Sir Alex Ferguson. The Racecourse Ground ( cy, Y Cae Ras) is a football stadium in Wrexham, Wales. It is the home of Wrexham A.F.C. It is the world's oldest international football stadium that still hosts international matches, having hosted Wales' first home international match in 1877, and has hosted more Wales international matches than any other ground. The record attendance at the ground was set in 1957, when Wrexham hosted a match against Manchester United in front of 34,445 spectators.
