Kestopur
Kestopur (officially, Krishnapur) is a neighborhood of Kolkata in North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is under Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation and also a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Kestopur lies on Kazi Nazrul Islam Sarani, more commonly known as VIP Road, which connects the area with Dumdum/Kolkata Airport. The community is made up of people of various religions from different states. Kestopur has over the years become an area of great prominence because of its proximity to areas like Salt Lake and New Town. To reduce traffic jams especially in the crossings of Kestopur and Baguiati, a flyover is constructed over the stretch between Dum Dum Park and Raghunathpur, which opened in March 2015. Another flyover connecting VIP Road with EM Bypass was opened in 2011, reducing traffic bottlenecks at Ultadanga crossing. Bidhannagar is a planned urban agglomeration and city and a municipal corporation of the North 24 Parganas in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is in Greater Kolkata region and also a part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Aquatica (Kolkata)
Aquatica is a 705000sq ft (17 acre) water theme park in Kochpukur, under Bhangar 2 cd block of Baruipur sub division, South 24 pgs district, Greater Kolkata, India. The theme park was started in 1999. It is one of the largest water amusement parks in and around Kolkata, as well as eastern India. It is quite a popular destination on the day of Holi. Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation is the local government responsible for the civic infrastructure and administration of Salt Lake and Rajarhat areas in Greater Kolkata.
