Kerry Jane Ellis (born 6 May 1979) is an English actress and singer who is best known for her work in musical theatre and subsequent crossover into music. Born and raised in Suffolk, Ellis began performing at an early age before training at Laine Theatre Arts from the age of 16. Ellis made her first professional stage appearance in 1998 and went on to make her West End debut in the 2001 revival of ''My Fair Lady'' as an understudy for the role of Eliza Doolittle. In 2002, she landed the role of Meat in the original London cast of ''We Will Rock You'' and has subsequently played lead roles in musicals ''Les Misérables'', '' Wicked'' (in the West End and on Broadway), ''Oliver!'' and ''Cats'' as well as appearing in national tours and concert productions of musicals like ''Miss Saigon'', ''Chess'', ''The War of the Worlds'', ''RENT'', and ''Anything Goes''. ''Golden Days'' is the second album released by the duo Brian May and Kerry Ellis. Their first album together as a duo was ''Acoustic by Candlelight'', which is a live album, although they first worked together on Ellis' second studio album '' Anthems'', which May produced. The album was first released on 7 April 2017 and reached number 27 in the UK Albums Chart. Release and critical reception The album was originally to be called ''Anthems II'', named after Ellis' album ''Anthems'', which May produced and wrote or co-wrote five of the songs. It was scheduled to be released in March 2017. The release date changed to 7 April 2017 as did the album title to ''Golden Days'' In a press release, May said of the album: The album entered the UK Albums Chart on 20 April 2017 and climbed to number 27 and spent just one week on the charts. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. "Let It Go" is a song from Disney's 2013 computer-animated feature film '' Frozen'', whose music and lyrics were composed by husband-and-wife songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The song was performed in its original show-tune version in the film by American actress and singer Idina Menzel in her vocal role as Queen Elsa. It was later released as a single, being promoted to adult contemporary radio by Walt Disney Records in January 2014.
