The 2019 edition of the Kerrang! Awards, a ceremony recognising achievements in rock music over the preceding twelve months, took place on June 19, 2019.''Kerrang!'', issue 1774, 25 May 2019, page 8. As has long been the case for the Kerrang! Awards, the winners for the major categories were determined by fan votes from a shortlist of nominees, itself determined by a period of open fan nominee submissions. Architects received the most nominations with three, namely 'Best Album', 'Best British Act', and 'Best British Live Act'. The band would ultimately walk away with only the latter award, winning it for the second consecutive year. The event was also notable for the 'Hall of Fame' award being awarded for the first time since 2014, with Skunk Anansie winning the distinction. Feeder's frontman Grant Nicholas, who presented the band with their award, would two months later see his own band inducted into Kerrang! Radio's Hall of Fame. Behemoth (band)
Behemoth is a Polish extreme metal band from Gdańsk, formed in 1991. They are considered to have played an important role in establishing the Polish extreme metal underground. Until the late 1990s, the band played a traditional black metal style with heathen lyrical content, but soon changed to that of occult and thelemic themes written by their lead vocalist Nergal and Krzysztof Azarewicz. "All Out Life" is a song by American heavy metal band Slipknot. Released as a single on October 31, 2018 by Roadrunner Records, it is the band's only single that was not included on an album, though it was included on the Japanese release of the band's sixth album '' We Are Not Your Kind'' (2019). Slipknot (band)
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013. Steele left during the recording sessions for '' .5: The Gray Chapter''. The band found replacements in Alessandro Venturella on bass and Jay Weinberg on drums. Frank Anthony Iero, Jr. (, born October 31, 1981) is an American musician who is the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance and post-hardcore band Leathermouth. He is also the guitarist in the metal band L.S Dunes. He has a solo project titled "Frank Iero and the Future Violents" (formerly "frnkiero andthe cellabration" and "Frank Iero and the Patience"). Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994.
