Kelvin Gibbs
Kelvin Gibbs (born October 24, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player who played for among others Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Basketball Premier League for whom he was named to the Israeli Basketball Premier League Quintet, and Riesen Ludwigsburg in the German Basketball Bundesliga, playing the forward and center positions. Personal life Gibbs was born in Bellflower, California, and lived in Torrance, California. He is 6' 6" (198) cm tall, and weighs 270 pounds (122 kg). Basketball and later career Gibbs attended Bellflower High School, for whom he played basketball for the Bucaneers. In 1994 after averaging 15 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots a game with a 7' 3" arm span, he was second-team All-California Interscholastic Federation Division Three. Bellflower, California
Bellflower is a city located in southeast Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It was founded in 1906 and incorporated on September 3, 1957. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 79,190, up from 76,616 at the 2010 census. This made it the 65th most densely populated city in the United States, of cities over 50,000 residents (and the 8th most densely populated city in California). The site was formerly rich farmland watered by artesian wells and floodwaters of the now-contained San Gabriel River. In 1906, F.E. The Berkeley Police Department (BPD) is the municipal police department for the city of Berkeley, California, USA. History Shortly after Berkeley was incorporated in 1878, a town marshal and constables were elected to provide law enforcement. August Vollmer had been the town marshal since 1905, and was appointed to be the first chief of police in 1909. He remained chief until he retired in 1932, although he left from 1923 to 1924 when briefly appointed the chief of the Los Angeles Police Department.
