Katja Schuurman
Katja Schuurman (born 19 February 1975) is a Dutch actress, singer and television personality. Early life She grew up as the eldest daughter of a Dutch father and a Surinamese mother, born in Curaçao. Her sister Birgit is also a singer and actress. Acting career 1992-1999 Schuurman made her acting debut in 1992 on the television series ''Uit de school geklapt''. Her breakthrough came two years later when she resurfaced in the RTL soap ''Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (GTST)'' as Jessica, one of Govert Harmsen's three nieces. With two other characters from ''GTST'' she formed the spin-off girl group Linda, Roos & Jessica. Their debut single "Ademnood" (English version: "Turn Your Love Around'") topped the Dutch charts in late 1995. Bunnik
Bunnik () is a municipality and village in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands. The recorded history of the village dates back nearly 2000 years, when the Romans constructed a fort at Fectio (now Vechten) with a harbour facing the river Rhine, which marked the border of the Roman Empire. The fort developed into a thriving trading centre, which continued to exist after the Romans abandoned the fort in the fourth century. Subsequently, the area was occupied by the Frisians and the Franks. In the 8th and 9th century, the villages of Bunninchem (Bunnik), Lodichem (Odijk) and Wercundia (Werkhoven) developed. S1NGLE
S1NGLE is a Dutch gag-a-day comic series, created in 2000 by Hanco Kolk and Peter de Wit. It centers on three women and their endless endeavours to find the right male partner. The popularity of the series inspired a TV sitcom series of the same name. Concept ''S1NGLE'' is about three young women who work in a hospital and who often go on dates to find the perfect partner. A lot of comedy is provided by the girls' distinctive personalities, the type of men they meet and sexual situations. ''Medea'' is a 2005 Dutch television serial in six episodes directed by Theo van Gogh, starring Katja Schuurman, Thijs Römer and Tara Elders. It tells the story of the daughter of a politician who tries to help her selfish boyfriend to become the prime minister of the Netherlands. The screenplay was written by Theodor Holman and is a take on Euripides' play '' Medea'', with the story moved to contemporary Dutch politics. The serial was produced by Column Film for the broadcaster AVRO. It won the Special Prize and was nominated for the Golden Calf for Best Television Drama at the 2005 Netherlands Film Festival. Vallery () is a commune in the Yonne department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in north-central France. History The town was acquired by Louis de Bourbon, ''prince de Condé'' - uncle of the future Henry IV of France. Net5 is a Dutch free-to-cable commercial TV channel and is part of Talpa TV, formerly a part of SBS Broadcasting B.V. and now owned by Talpa Network. Other channels of the group in the Netherlands are SBS6, Veronica, and SBS9. It is aimed at high-educated female viewers. The station broadcasts various series, reality shows, and films. History Net5 was launched by the SBS Broadcasting Group as their second commercial channel in the Netherlands next to SBS6. The head of SBS was Fons van Westerloo who left the company to work until 31 January 2008 to head the main competitor RTL Nederland (part of the RTL Group). BNN or Bart's Neverending Network (formerly ''Bart's News Network'', as a pun on CNN) was a Dutch public broadcasting association supported by Netherlands Public Broadcasting. BNN was founded in 1997 by Bart de Graaff, Gerard Timmer and Frank Timmer and targeted teenagers and young adults. Costa!!
''Costa!!'' is a 2022 Dutch film directed by Jon Karthaus. The film is not a sequel to the 2001 film ''Costa!'' but it takes place in the same location and has Katja Schuurman as the only original cast member. Karthaus and Diederik Jekel wrote the script of the film. It was the third best visited Dutch film of 2022 with just over 260,000 visitors. The film won the Golden Film award after having sold 100,000 tickets. Besides Schuurman, Abbey Hoes and Tina de Bruin are among the cast members.
