''Kanalkkattu'' is a 1991 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Lohithadas. It stars Mammootty, Murali, Mamukkoya, Jayaram, Urvashi, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Shari, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Mohan Raj and Innocent. The movie is remembered for the performance of K. P. A. C. Lalitha. Synopsis A local rowdy is forced to attack an honest person, but kills him accidentally. The repentant rowdy now becomes the pillar of strength for the grieving family of the deceased person. Beena Antony
Beena Antony is an Indian actress appearing in Malayalam film and television. She mainly appeared in supporting roles in films and television serials in her later career, including ''Ommanathinkalpakshi'', ''Mayaseetha'', ''Ente Manasaputhri'', ''Autograph'' and ''Thapasya''. Mamukkoya (born 5 July 1946) is an Indian actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema, and has also appeared in French film ''Flammens of Paradise''. He has mostly appeared in comedic roles. His unique usage of the Mappila dialect and style marks his presence in the industry. He has acted in more than 450 Malayalam films and is the first winner of the State award for best Comedian in Malayalam cinema. Mary Joseph, famously known as Meena (22 April 1941 – 17 September 1997), was an Indian actress. She primarily appeared in Malayalam movies. She died on 17 September 1997 due to a cardiac arrest. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles.
