Kan Educational
Kan Educational ( he, כאן חינוכית, Kan Hinuchit) is a public television channel in Israel designated for children, on behalf of the Israel Broadcasting Corporation. The channel launched on August 15, 2018 and replaced Israeli Educational Television, which preceded it. It now broadcasts existing IETV programs including older and newer programs, as well as providing new seasons to some of those programs, and also introduce new series along the way. All of its content will be bought from third parties, unlike IETV who produced many of their shows in-house. 576i is a standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/ SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. ''Hero Elementary'' is an animated children's television series created and produced by Portfolio Entertainment and Twin Cities PBS. The series premiered on June 1, 2020, on PBS Kids. The series was created by co-creators Carol-Lynn Parente and Christine Ferraro, who previously worked on ''Sesame Street''. ''Foxy Fables'' (known in Hebrew as משלים שועליים) is a short-lived animated television series produced by the leading Israeli animator Rony Oren. All the characters were made from moulded plasticine modelling clay on metal armatures, and filmed with stop motion clay animation. The plot of the series was based on fables by Aesop, La Fontaine, and others that feature forest animals acting out the famous stories. The situations are always based on the less strong animal succeeding in outsmarting the stronger one who tries to let him down. Every episode would end with a valuable moral. Rega im Dodley ( he, רגע עם דודלי; lit. ''Rega with Dodley'' or ''A Moment with Dodley'') was an Israeli children’s television show. Produced by Israeli Educational Television, the program aired from 1976 to 1981, after which it then aired in reruns.
