Kabaret Wagabunda
''Wagabunda'' ( Polish for ''vagabond'') was a Polish satirical theatre (cabaret) from 1956 to 1968, created by actress Lidia Wysocka (its stage director, creative director and performer) and Karol Szpalski. True to its name it didn't have own stage, being forever on tour, not only all over Poland, but also visiting Polonia centers in the United States and Canada (1957, 1962, 1964), United Kingdom (1965, 1966), Israel (1963), USSR (1968) and Czechoslovakia (1956). 1500 performances by January 1963, in total over 2 million tickets sold, according to its executive manager, Wojciech Furman.''Od Siedmiu Kotów...'' Iron Curtain
The Iron Curtain was the political boundary dividing Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II in 1945 until the end of the Cold War in 1991. The term symbolizes the efforts by the Soviet Union (USSR) to block itself and its satellite states from open contact with the West, its allies and neutral states. Jacek Jan Fedorowicz (born 18 July 1937) is a Polish satirist and actor. Early life Fedorowicz was born in pre-war Gdynia, Poland to a family of Varsovians. His parents worked for the newly developed Polish maritime economy. As a 7-year-old boy he survived the Warsaw Uprising. In 1960 graduated from the School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk. Career Fedorowicz was one of the founders (together with, among others, Zbigniew Cybulski and Bogumił Kobiela) of the student theatre in Gdańsk named ''Bim-Bom'' (between 1954 and 1960). He also belonged to the acting company of the theatre (the main role of ''Dobry Duch'' in the first programme named ''Achaaa''). Bogumił Kobiela (31 May 1931 – 10 July 1969) was a Polish stage and film actor. He was an actor of , Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw, Komedia Theatre in Warsaw, Bim-Bom student theatre, Kabaret Wagabunda and Kabaret Dudek. He suffered serious injuries in a car crash on 2 July 1969 in Buszkowo. He died eight days later in hospital in Gdańsk.
