Frequency modulation (FM) is the encoding of information in a carrier wave by varying the instantaneous frequency of the wave. Skokomish is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mason County, Washington, United States. The population was 617 at the 2010 census. The town is the headquarters of the Skokomish Indian Tribe.
