The Prototypes
The Prototypes is a British drum and bass duo consisting of Chris Garvey and Nick White. Founded in Brighton, England, in the late 2000s, by 2010 they had released their first singles on labels such as Formation Records and Viper Recordings, and from 2011 to 2013 were signed to Shogun Audio. They have released a number of EPs, and have received radio and live PA support from DJs such as Matrix & Futurebound. Signing exclusively to Viper Recordings in 2014, in the following months the duo released a number of promo singles for a debut album. Their resulting single, "Pale Blue Dot" ranked as Beatport's second top selling drum and bass track of the year. Anjunabeats
Anjunabeats is a British record label started by producers Jonathan "Jono" Grant and Paavo Siljamäki of Above & Beyond in 2000. Initially exclusively a trance music label, around 2011 Anjunabeats started releasing primarily trance-edged house. The name Anjuna comes from the name of a beach in Goa, India. History In 2000, Anjunabeats released its first 12" record, titled Volume One, which was released under Grant and Siljamäki's alias ''Anjunabeats''. As the label got the name Anjunabeats, they decided to produce under different aliases, such as Free State and Dirt Devils. He runs his own record labels, Shogun Audio & Elevate Records, and has formerly presented a regular overnight show on BBC Radio 1. Joe Ford (born May 7, 1947) is an American jazz saxophonist. Early life and education Ford was born in Buffalo, New York. He studied saxophone under Makanda Ken McIntyre, Jackie McLean, and Frank Foster, and percussion under Joe Chambers. He earned his bachelor's degree in music education in 1968 from Central State University. Career After graduating from college, Ford taught in Buffalo Public Schools from 1968 to 1972. Mustafa Alobaidi (born 10 November 1994), better known by his stage name Muzz (formerly Muzzy, stylised in all caps), is an Iraqi-English drum and bass producer and DJ. He first gained attention with his release on UKF, "X No Way Out" in 2010 and continues to release music, most predominantly on Monstercat.
