Knoppers (sweet Brand)
Knoppers is a brand of wafer candy bar layered with hazelnut and milk crème, produced by August Storck, first launched in West Germany in 1983. It has since been sold in over 50 countries, mainly in Europe but also in Vietnam, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. A bar weighs and typically has a light-blue-and-white wrapper. Knoppers are manufactured at Storck production sites in Germany. Composition One Knoppers candy bar consists of five layers: a wafer, hazelnut crème, another wafer, milk crème, and a chocolate-covered wafer. The ingredients are: sugar, vegetable oil, wheat flour 12%, skimmed milk powder 11,5 %, hazelnuts 9%, whole wheat flour 6%, cocoa, clarified butter 2,6 %, whey powder, wheat starch, emulsifier: soya lecithin, cream powder 0,3 %, salt, aroma, caramel. Bartha Maria Knoppers, Order of Canada, OC National Order of Quebec, OQ (born May 26, 1951) is a Canadians, Canadian law Professor and an expert on the ethical aspects of genetics, genomics and biotechnology. Annelies Knoppers is a former college volleyball coach. She coached the Michigan State women's volleyball team for 11 seasons, compiling an overall record of 250-197-18. She was Michigan State's head coach when the Big Ten Conference began sponsoring women's volleyball. Coaching career Michigan State Knoppers was the third coach of the Michigan State women's volleyball team, and coached for the Spartans for eleven seasons. Her head coaching career debuted in 1974, where the team opened with a tournament sponsored by the Michigan Women's Volleyball Association. In her second year of coaching, Michigan State qualified for the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) championships, one of 24 teams to be invited to the tournament.
