Kim Watkins
Kim Watkins (22 September 1967) is an Australian television and news presenter. Career Watkins began her career in 1979, aged 12 as the co-host of the Nine Network's children's show ''You Asked For It''. In 1989, Kim began a six-year stint at the Seven Network in Brisbane working as a news reporter, weekend news presenter and a morning show host. While at Seven, she also worked on the 1992 Olympic Games. In 1995, Watkins joined the Nine Network, working as a reporter on many shows including ''Good Medicine'', ''Australia's Most Wanted'', ''Money'', and giving updates for the '' Wide World of Sports'' telecast of the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. Watkins also presented '' National Nine Morning News'' and was a fill-in presenter on other ''National Nine News'' bulletins. David Reyne
David Nicholas Reyne (born 14 May 1959) is an Australian actor, musician, television and radio presenter. Reyne was born in Lagos, Nigeria to an Australian mother and English diplomat father. The family moved to Victoria, Australia in the early 1960s. Reyne lives in Mount Eliza, Victoria. He was educated at The Peninsula School, Mount Eliza. Career Music In 1978 when Clutch Cargo became the band Australian Crawl, Reyne, younger brother of lead singer James, continued as drummer. He filled this role for ten months before leaving to continue his acting education. He was later Vocalst for Cats Under Pressure (1984) and Chantoozies (1986–90). Reyne co-wrote "Polar Notch" and "Let Me Be" (with Simon Hussey) for Cats Under Pressure, the latter was covered by Daryl Braithwaite. Whilst with Chantoozies, Reyne also sang backing vocals. ''The Circle'' was an Australian morning talk show that was aired on Network Ten from 9 February 2010 to 3 August 2012. The show was presented by Gorgi Coghlan, Yumi Stynes, Chrissie Swan and Denise Drysdale and aired in a daytime slot on Network Ten. Ten cancelled the program on 30 July 2012, with the last episode on 3 August 2012. Presenters Colin Lane replaced Coghlan in early 2011 while she was on maternity leave. ''9am with David & Kim'' is an Australian morning show which premiered on Monday 30 January 2006 on Network Ten. It aired live from 9am - 11am weekdays, and was hosted by musician and former '' Getaway'' reporter David Reyne and former ''National Nine News'' presenter and journalist Kim Watkins. Fill in presenters have included Ann-Maree Biggar, Christi Malthouse, Corinne Grant, Kathryn Robinson, Stephen Quartermain and music mogul Ian Dickson. The program replaced long time morning program '' Good Morning Australia'' with Bert Newton, which finished in late 2005, after Bert Newton returned to the Nine Network. Bert Newton
Albert Watson Newton (23 July 1938 – 30 October 2021) was an Australian media personality. He was a Logie Hall of Fame inductee, quadruple Gold Logie award-winning entertainer and radio, theatre and television personality and presenter. Newton hosted the Logie Awards ceremony on 19 occasions. Newton was known for his collaborations opposite Graham Kennedy and subsequently Don Lane on their respective variety shows as well as appearances with his wife, singer Patti Newton. Their two children are actor Matthew Newton and TV personality Lauren Newton. ''Breakfast'' was an Australian breakfast television program which aired live on Network Ten on weekdays, as well as a weekly highlights program on Saturday at 11:00am. It had a format consisting of news, sport and weather updates every half-hour from 6:00am to 8:00am with a mixture of debate, current affairs and regular segments in between. Alastair Lynch
Alastair Graeme Lynch (born 19 June 1968) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is best known as a three-time premiership full-forward for the Brisbane Lions. The Tasmanian began his career in defence, where he became a club champion and leading goal-kicker for Fitzroy. The 2006 Australian Grand Prix (officially the 2006 Formula 1 Foster's Australian Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit in Albert Park, Melbourne on 2 April 2006. The 57-lap race was the 22nd Australian Grand Prix as part of the World Championship, and the 71st Australian Grand Prix overall. It was also the third round of the 2006 Formula One season; the Australian Grand Prix had been the season opener since 1996, but this race was held later due to the 2006 Commonwealth Games being held in Melbourne at the time of the opening round.
