Kim Kyu-eun
Kim Kyu-eun (Hangul:김규은) (born June 27, 1999) is a South Korean pair skater. With her skating partner, Alex Kang-chan Kam, she competed in the free skate at the 2017 Four Continents Championships and participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Career 2013–14 season Kim debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series in the 2013–14 season. She competed at 2013 JGP Tallinn, placing 9th with a total score of 132.45 points. 2014–15 season Early in the 2014–15 season, Kim placed 4th at the Asian Open Trophy held in Taipei, Taiwan, her first senior international competition. She competed at a second ISU competition, 2014 JGP Pokal der Blauen Schwerter, placing 15th with total score 106.72. 2018 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2018 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Milan, Italy from 19–25 March 2018, at the Mediolanum Forum. Jun Miyake
Jun Miyake (Japanese: 三宅 純 Hepburn: ''Miyake Jun'', January 7, 1958 in Kyoto) is a Japanese composer. His music (e.g., the songs "Lilies in the Valley" and "The Here and After") was used in the film Pina, nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature in January 2012. He has also been awarded by the German critic's award, Der Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, as Best Album of the Year for his last three albums, "Stolen from Strangers", "Lost Memory Theatre act-1", and "Lost Memory Theatre act-2". Discovered by Japanese jazz trumpeter Terumasa Hino, Miyake started his career as a jazz trumpet player, having studied at Berklee College of Music from 1976 to 1981. The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Maxime Deschamps (born December 20, 1991) is a Canadian pair skater. With his skating partner, Deanna Stellato-Dudek, he is the 2023 Four Continents bronze medalist, 2022 Grand Prix de France champion, 2022 Skate America silver medallist, 2022 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and 2023 Canadian national champion. Pair Skating
Pair skating is a figure skating discipline defined by the International Skating Union (ISU) as "the skating of two persons in unison who perform their movements in such harmony with each other as to give the impression of genuine Pair Skating as compared with independent Single Skating".S&P/ID 2021, p. 109 The ISU also states that a pairs team consists of "one Woman and one Man". Pair skating, along with men's and women's single skating, has been an Olympic discipline since figure skating, the oldest Winter Olympic sport, was introduced at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London.
