Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh
Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh Baghir oglu ( az, Xoşbəxt Yusifzadə Bağır oğlu) is an Azerbaijani academician and the First Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). He is Doctor of Science in Geology and Mineralogy. Biography Yusifzadeh was born in Pirshagi settlement of Baku on January 14, 1930, during the birthday party of his mother, for which his father named him ''Khoshbakht'' which means ''Happiness, Happy'' in Azerbaijani language, Azerbaijani. According to his father Baghir Yusifzade, Khoshbakht was the "first child in Pirshagi to have been born when the music played on". Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh graduated from the Azerbaijani Institute of Industry (now: Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University) in 1952. Gunashli (Azerbaijani: ''Günəşli'') is an offshore oil field in the Caspian Sea, located east of Baku, Azerbaijan, southeast of Oil Rocks and its deep water section is a part of the larger Azeri–Chirag–Guneshli (ACG) project. The Azerbaijani translation of ''Gunashli'' means ''"sunny"''. Gunashli is believed to have more than 100 million tonnes of oil reserves. The Order of Labour Glory (Russian: ''Орден Трудовой Славы'') was a Soviet civilian award created on 18 January 1974 by the decision of the Praesidium of Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Closely modelled on the Order of Glory, it was meant to be its civilian counterpart, awarded for exceptional labour achievements. In the same way as the Order of Glory, it was divided in three classes (the highest being the 1st class), with a person initially received the third degree, and subsequently promoted to higher degrees for further achievements.
