Khatija Rahman
Khatija Rahman (born 29 December 1995) is an Indian singer and musician. Life An advocate for women's freedom and peace, she made her playback debut in the acclaimed 2010 sci-fi action film ''Enthiran'', singing the title track in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu alongside musical legends including her father A. R. Rahman and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Rahman has also collaborated with Irish band U2 on their 2019 single "Ahimsa", which showcased the power of non-violence. She performed this track for U2's 2019 Joshua Tree Tour in Mumbai. Her single "Farishton", released in 2020, was a meditative and mesmerising invocation of solidarity and cultural harmony. ''Enthiran'' is the soundtrack album to the 2010 Tamil science fiction- action film of the same name, directed by S. Shankar and starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai. The soundtrack album includes seven tracks composed by A. R. Rahman and was released on 31 July 2010 by Think Music. The release coincided with a promotional event held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film '' Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Ricky Kej (born 5 August 1981 - Dhaka, Bangladesh) is a multi-Grammy Award-winning Indian music composer and environmentalist.
