Kevin Danczak
Size 14 was an American rock band in the late 1990s based out of Hollywood that gained some notoriety with the novelty song "Claire Danes Poster". This song appeared on the '' Dude, Where's My Car? soundtrack''; other Size 14 songs appeared on movies such as ''Sugar & Spice'', ''100 Girls'', and '' 100 Women''. They released one self-titled album on Volcano Entertainment in 1997. Size 14 started after Linus of Hollywood answered an ad placed by bassist Robt Ptak in ''Recycler'' magazine looking for a lead or rhythm guitarist. They demoed all the material on Ptak's 8-track. Linus then pulled in his roommate Kevin Danczak to play guitar for Size 14. Drummer Dave Armstrong initially moved to Los Angeles to be in Ptak's solo project Artificial Joy; Armstrong recorded drum tracks for some of this material. ''100 Women'' (also known as ''Girl Fever'') is a 2002 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Michael Davis (director), Michael Davis and starring Chad Donella, Erinn Bartlett, Jennifer Morrison, Clint Howard, and Steve Monroe. It tells the story of a young man named Sam and his struggle to discover why the girl of his dreams is suddenly depressed after her cheeriness brought him out of his sadness. The film was originally released under the title ''Girl Fever'' and had a short run in cinemas before being renamed ''100 Women'' and being released to DVD. Drive Thru Records
Drive-Thru Records was a California-based independent record label owned by siblings Richard and Stefanie Reines. The label was partially responsible for popularizing the pop-punk/emo merger sound of the early to mid-2000s. After facing financial obstacles in getting their bands' music into stores, Drive-Thru entered into a distribution deal with MCA/Universal. In 2003 MCA was dissolved and folded into Geffen Records. One of the clauses of that agreement was MCA/Geffen being able to sign any band of their choosing from Drive-Thru's roster. Once the Universal deal ended, they signed a contract with independent label Sanctuary Records. Starting with a new roster, the label garnered a top 10 platinum hit with "Here In Your Arms" by Hellogoodbye. However, Sanctuary was on the verge of bankruptcy, and sold their assets to Universal Music. Drive-Thru Records got trapped in that deal, and were stuck with UMG, the catalog division of Universal.
