''Keralotsavam 2009'' is a 2009 Indian Malayalam-language action drama comedy film directed by Shankar and written by Satheesh K. Sivan and Suresh Menon. The film stars Vinu Mohan, Vishnupriya, Nedumudi Venu, and Kalabhavan Mani. ''Keralotsavam 2009'' deals with terrorism taking control of a youngster's dream to make it big in his life. Shankar is an Indian actor who has worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. He acted in nearly 200 films.In the 80s and early 90s he was the most prominent romantc lead actor of Malayalam cinema. Shankar's debut Tamil film '' Oru Thalai Ragam,'' and Malayalam debut, '' Manjil Virinja Pookkal,'' completed a theatrical run of 365 and 250 days respectively. Kesavan Venugopal (22 May 1948 – 11 October 2021), better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam and also in Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Mohiniyattam, ( ml, മോഹിനിയാട്ടം), is an Indian classical dance form that developed and remained popular in the state of Kerala. Kathakali is another classical dance form of Kerala. Mohiniyattam dance gets its name from the word Mohini – a historical enchantress avatar of the Hindu God Vishnu, who helps the good prevail over evil by developing her feminine powers. Mohiniyattam's roots, like all classical Indian dances, are in the ''Natya Shastra'' – the ancient Hindu Sanskrit text on performance arts.
