Ken Wolffe
Ken Wolffe (born 13 February 1958) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He played most of his career at the Penrith Panthers, but he also had brief stint at the Parramatta Eels. He began his career on the , but later shifted to . Playing career Wolffe was graded by the Penrith Panthers in the 1978 season. Penrith coach Len Stacker gave Wolffe his first grade debut on the wing in his sides' 33-7 loss to the Newtown Jets at Penrith Stadium, Penrith Park in round 14 of the 1979 season. He scored his first try in his sides' 19-8 loss to the Sydney Roosters, Eastern Suburbs Roosters at Penrith Stadium, Penrith Park in round 20 of the 1979 season. The early 1980s was a troubled period for the Panthers. They went on to finish with the wooden spoon in the 1980 season after winning only 2 games. Penrith Panthers
The Penrith Panthers are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith that competes in the NRL. The team is based west of the centre of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Penrith are the current reigning NRL Premiers, having won the title four times. Penrith were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition in 1967. Penrith struggled for almost twenty years before finally reaching their first finals series. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The Parramatta Eels are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta that competes in the National Rugby League. The Parramatta District Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1947, and their home ground was Parramatta Stadium (formerly Cumberland Oval). As of 2019, Parramatta's home ground stadium has been rebuilt and they now play as the co-tenants at Western Sydney Stadium, which sits on the same site that was once Parramatta Stadium. It took thirty years for the club to make the grand final, which they did in 1976 and 1977, losing on both occasions. Tim Sheens
Tim Sheens (born 30 October 1950) is an Australian professional rugby league football coach and former player. Head Coach of the Australia national team between 2009 and 2015, he has also been the head coach of National Rugby League (NRL) clubs, the Penrith Panthers, the Canberra Raiders, the North Queensland Cowboys and the Wests Tigers. As a player, Sheens was a prop forward with Sydney's Penrith club in the 1970s and 1980s before he retired and became their coach. Sheens returned to the Wests Tigers in 2021 as the Head of Football Operations. He then coached the Raiders, taking them to victory in the 1989, 1990 and 1994 premierships. With the Tigers he won the 2005 premiership.
