Disco Montego
Disco Montego (earlier known as Kaylan) was an Australian R&B and dance music trio. The Dowlut brothers Dennis and Darren, together with Tony Vass formed Kaylan in Melbourne in 1995. They released an R&B album '' No Commandments'' in 2000, which reached No. 23 in Australia and spawned three top 50 singles. In May 2001, they became the studio based group Disco Montego, and released further singles followed by '' Disco Montego'' in September 2002. Their production work included remixing Mariah Carey's " Boy (I Need You)" in 2004. The trio's music career was cut short when Darren died of cancer on 5 August 2005, six weeks after being diagnosed with a chest tumour. In 2010, Dennis Dowlut revived the Disco Montego name with Michael Abdul and released "Hearts on Fire" to celebrate the FIFA World Cup. Howard Kaylan
Howard Kaylan (born Howard Lawrence Kaplan; June 22, 1947) is an American retired musician and songwriter, who was a founding member and lead singer of the 1960s rock band The Turtles, and, with bandmate and friend Mark Volman, a member of the 1970s rock duo Flo & Eddie, where he used the pseudonym Eddie. He also was a member of Frank Zappa's band, The Mothers of Invention. Early years Kaylan was born in the Bronx to a Jewish family and grew up in Utica, New York, and Westchester, a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. He studied choral music and clarinet, and won a Bank of America Fine Arts Award at age 16. He graduated early (as valedictorian) from Westchester High School, and briefly attended University of California, Los Angeles on a scholarship. Kaylan Bigun (born May 23, 2006) is an American tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 765, achieved on February 17, 2025. After winning the boys' singles title at the 2024 French Open, he reached a ITF junior combined ranking of No. 1 on June 10, 2024. Early life Bigun was born in Los Angeles. His father, Dimitry, was born in Ukraine but moved to Los Angeles when he was a teenager. He is Jewish. He trains in California and the USTA Center in Florida. Kaylan Jenna Marckese (born April 22, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper. College career Marckese played as first goalkeeper for the Florida Gators between 2015 and 2018. She was named to the SEC All-Tournament team in 2017 and 2018. She received a bachelor's degree in Sports Management in December 2018, at the University of Florida. Club career Sky Blue FC Marckese was selected in the 4th round with the 28th pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft by Sky Blue FC (now known as Gotham FC). She did not sign with the team or make any appearances. Selfoss In April 2020, Marckese signed for Selfoss in the Úrvalsdeild.
