Kay Bannerman
Kay Bannerman (11 October 1919 – 31 March 1991) was a British actress and screenwriter. Biography Kay Bannerman was born on 11 October 1919 in Hove, Sussex, England. She was the daughter of Captain Robert George Bannerman and Chicot Mowat. Bannerman grew up in Scotland and France. Bannerman trained in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Bannerman performed on stage. She married Nikita Bruce but they divorced in 1945. Bannerman then went on to marry Harold Brooke. Together they wrote a number of screenplays, the best known of which was All for Mary ''All for Mary'' is a 1955 British comedy film brought to the screen by Paul Soskin Productions for the Rank Organisation. Hove
Hove is a seaside resort and one of the two main parts of the city of Brighton and Hove, along with Brighton in East Sussex, England. Originally a "small but ancient fishing village" surrounded by open farmland, it grew rapidly in the 19th century in response to the development of its eastern neighbour Brighton, and by the Victorian era it was a fully developed town with borough status. Neighbouring parishes such as Aldrington and Hangleton were annexed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The neighbouring urban district of Portslade was merged with Hove in 1974. ''All for Mary'' is a 1955 British comedy film brought to the screen by Paul Soskin Productions for the Rank Organisation. It was based on a successful West End play by the English husband and wife team of Kay Bannerman and Harold Brooke. Marbella
