Chiayi
Chiayi (,), officially known as Chiayi City, is a Provincial city (Taiwan), city located in Chianan Plain in Regions of Taiwan, southwestern Taiwan, surrounded by Chiayi County with a population of 263,188 inhabitants as of January 2023. The Hoanya people inhabited present-day Chiayi under its historical name of ''Tirosen'' prior to the arrival of Han Chinese in Taiwan and was ruled by the Dutch Formosa, Dutch and the Kingdom of Tungning under various names. During the Taiwan under Qing rule, Qing dynasty, Tirosen was governed as part of Taiwan Prefecture in Fuchien Province, Republic of China, Fujian under Zhuluo County and the city was renamed Kagee in 1787. The city was renamed ''Kagi'' during the Taiwan under Japanese rule, Japanese era but an 1906 Meishan earthquake, earthquake in 1906 destroyed much of the town. Kaafu Atoll is the code name given to an administrative division in the Republic of Maldives which consists of the geographical atolls of Kaashidhoo Island, Gaafaru, North Malé Atoll and South Malé Atoll. As the two Malé Atolls are the main islands of the administrative district, the entire Kaafu Atoll administrative division is officially named Malé Atoll or Malé Atolhu in the Dhivehi language. The capital of the administrative division is Thulusdhoo. Although Malé, the capital of the Maldives, and the adjacent islands of Vilingili, Hulhule and Hulhumalé, are geographically part of the North Malé Atoll, they do not form part of the Kaafu Atoll administrative division and are a separate administrative division. John Henry Kagi
John Henry Kagi, also spelled John Henri Kagi (March 15, 1835 – October 17, 1859), was an American attorney, abolitionist, and second in command to John Brown in Brown's failed raid on Harper's Ferry. He bore the title of "Secretary of War" in Brown's "provisional government." At age 24, Kagi was killed during the raid. He had previously been active in fighting on the abolitionist side in 1856 in "Bleeding Kansas". He was considered an excellent debater and speaker. Early life John Henry Kagi was born in Bristolville, Ohio, in 1835, the second child of blacksmith Abraham Neff Kagy (as spelled on his gravestone) and Anna Fansler, who were of Swiss descent. Odd Obsession
is a 1959 Japanese satirical comedy drama film directed by Kon Ichikawa. It is based on the 1956 novel '' The Key'' by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki. Plot Art historian Kenji Kenmochi is married to the much younger Ikuko. Due to his waning virility, he has his doctor give him hormone injections. In addition, he tries to awaken the interest of his daughter Toshiko's fiancé, assistant doctor Kimura, in Ikuko, convinced that his jealousy will bring his manliness back. Ikuko agrees to the plan, as she has developed a genuine interest in Kimura. However, Kimura's main ambition for becoming part of the Kenmochi family is financing his continued studies with Kenji's money. Kenji eventually dies of a heart failure, an effect of his hormone injections.
