Kaduvetti Guru
Kaduvetti Guru, (born, J. Gurunathan) also known as J. Guru, (1 February 1961 – 25 May 2018) was an Indian politician, who was twice elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Tamil Nadu. He was the president of the caste organization, Vanniyar Sangam. Guru was known for his inflammatory speeches and faced several cases. Personal life Gurunathan was born as J. Gurunathan on 1 February 1961 in Kaduvetti, now a part of Ariyalur district, Tamil Nadu to Rathina Jayaraman and Kalyani. He died, aged 57, on 25 May 2018 in a private hospital and was survived by his wife, a son and daughter. He had been suffering from interstitial lung disease for several months, and underwent a tracheotomy. Following the death Guru, 100 government buses were smashed and pelted stones across Tamil Nadu by Vanniyars. Jayankondam
Jayankondam is a Second Grade Municipality in Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu in India. As of 2011, the town had a population of 33,945. Huge amounts of lignite deposits have been found here and power projects have been initiated by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation. The National Security Act of 1980 is an act of the Indian Parliament promulgated on 23 September 1980 whose purpose is ''"to provide for preventive detention in certain cases and for matters connected therewith".'' The act extends to the whole of India. It Contains 18 sections. 2016 Tamil Nadu State Assembly Election
The Fifteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 16 May 2016 for the 232 seats (except Thanjavur and Aravakurichi for which held on 26 October 2016) of the Legislative Assembly in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
