Kadhal
''Kaadhal'' () is a 2004 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language romantic drama film based on a true story, directed by Balaji Sakthivel, starring Bharath (actor), Bharath and Sandhya (actress), Sandhya. It was produced by S. Shankar and featured music composed by Joshua Sridhar. The film opened on 17 December 2004 to critical acclaim and was a high commercial success. It was Bharath's first successful film as a main lead actor. The film was dubbed into Telugu language, Telugu as ''Premisthe'' in 2005. Kadhal Dhandapani
Kadhal Dhandapani (17 April 1943 – 20 July 2014) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil cinema, Tamil, Telugu cinema, Telugu and Malayalam cinema, Malayalam films. He rose to fame portraying the antagonist in Balaji Sakthivel's ''Kaadhal'' (2004), and is credited with the film's name as a prefix. He died on 20 July 2014 owing to a cardiac arrest. Career Before entering films, Dhandapani was a businessman in Dindigul. Along with his various businesses, he was actively involved in various honorary postings in the town. In 2004 he was selected by film director Balaji Sakthivel to play the role of lead actress Sandhya's father in ''Kaadhal''. Bharath Srinivasan (born 21 July 1983), known professionally as Bharath, is an Indian actor, who works predominantly in Tamil cinema, along with few films in Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu. He made his acting debut in 2003 with S. Shankar's '' Boys''. He made his Malayalam debut '' 4 the People'' (2004). Then, he played the antagonist character in '' Chellamae'' (2004).
