Kacper Duda
Kacper Duda (born 1 January 2004) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for I liga club Wisła Kraków. Career Duda started his senior career with Polish side Wisła Kraków. After coming back from a loan move to II liga club Garbarnia Kraków at the age of 18, Duda established himself as a regular in Wisła's line-up. He started the 2023–24 Polish Cup final on 2 May 2024 before coming off in the 84th minute, as Wisła defeated Pogoń Szczecin 2–1 after extra time. On 11 November 2024, Duda signed a contract extension with Wisła, keeping him at the club until mid-2027. Personal life A native of Bieruń, Duda has an older brother Mateusz; they played together at Garbarnia during Kacper's loan move there. He supports Spanish La Liga side Barcelona. Lędziny
Lędziny (; ; ) is a town in Silesia in southern Poland, near Katowice. Outer town of the Metropolis GZM – a metropolis with a population of 2 million which is located in the Silesian Highlands. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. 2023–24 I Liga
The 2023–24 I liga (also known as Fortuna I liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 76th season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 16th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The regular season was being played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 18 teams participate, 12 of which competed in the league campaign during the previous season, while three to be relegated from the 2022–23 Ekstraklasa and the remaining three to be promoted from the 2022–23 II liga. The season started on 21 July 2023 and will conclude on 26 May 2024. Each team will play a total of 34 matches, half at home and half away. Polish Super Cup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2024, the Polish Super Cup has been played 34 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant has been Legia Warsaw, as they have played sixteen final games and lost their eight following finals between 2012 and 2021. Unlike the Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time, the match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out.
