K. Vijay Kumar
K Vijay Kumar PMG GM IPS (born 15 September 1952), is a retired IPS officer. He was the chief of the Special Task Force of Tamil Nadu that was involved in the death of the Veerappan during Operation Cocoon of 2004. He had also been the senior advisor to Home Ministry for the Left Wing Extremism areas. He served as the Advisor to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir with Home, Forest, Ecology & Environment, Health & Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Hospitality & Protocol, Civil Aviation, Estates and Information portfolios. Currently he has joined back as senior security adviser in Ministry of Home Affairs in December 2018. Early life Vijay Kumar was raised in Tamil Nadu alongside six siblings. Sanjay Arora (officer)
Sanjay Arora (born 27 July 1965) is an IPS officer of the 1988 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre (IPS 88, TN). He is currently serving as the Commissioner of the Delhi Police. He has also served as the Chief of Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Sashastra Seema Bal. Biography Sanjay Arora joined the IPS in 1988 and was allotted the Tamil Nadu cadre. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Special Protection Group
The Special Protection Group (SPG) is an agency under the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India, whose sole responsibility is protecting the Prime Minister of India and, in some cases, their family. It was formed in 1988 by an Act of the Parliament of India. The agency protects the Prime Minister at all times, both in India and abroad, as well as the Prime Minister's immediate family members. Family members, however, may decline security. Previously, the SPG's mandate included protecting the prime minister's "parents, wife and children" resident anywhere in India during their term of office and for five years after leaving office.
