Jörg Zander
Jörg Zander (born 15 February 1964 in Ratingen) is a German Formula One car designer. Zander graduated from Cologne University in 1990 before joining Toyota. After a brief period working in Touring Cars he returned to Toyota to work on the Formula One project and in 2003 moved to the BAR Formula One team. In September 2005, Zander was recruited by the Williams team to replace outgoing Chief Designer Gavin Fisher who was sacked earlier in the year as a result of the team's poor performances. Zander worked alongside Chief Aerodynamicist Loïc Bigois, under the supervision of Technical Director Sam Michael. In March 2006, Zander resigned from the Williams team due to personal reasons, and immediately joined the BMW Sauber team as Chief Designer, accountable to Technical Director Willy Rampf. Ratingen ( li, Rotinge) is a town in the district of Mettmann in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies in the northwestern part of Berg about 12 km northeast of Düsseldorf. Honda Racing F1
The Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has participated in Formula One, as an engine manufacturer and team owner, for various periods since 1964. Honda's involvement in Formula One began with the season, and in 1965 they achieved their first victory at the Mexican Grand Prix. After further success with John Surtees, Honda withdrew at the end of the 1968 season due to difficulties selling road cars in the United States and Honda driver Jo Schlesser's fatal accident. Honda returned in as an engine manufacturer, which started a very successful period for the company. After winning races in 1984 and 1985, Honda won the Constructors' Championship every year between 1986 and 1991 with Williams and McLaren, and the Drivers' Championship every year from 1987 to 1991 with Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. Sauber Motorsport AG is a Swiss motorsport engineering company. It was founded in 1970 (as PP Sauber AG) by Peter Sauber, who progressed through hillclimbing and the World Sportscar Championship to reach Formula One in . After operating it under their own name from until , Sauber Motorsport AG renamed their Formula One racing team to Alfa Romeo in Formula One, Alfa Romeo Racing. Brawn GP was a Formula One constructor which competed in the 2009 Formula One World Championship, with drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello. The team was formed in 2009 by a management buyout led by Ross Brawn of the Honda Racing F1 Team, after Honda announced their withdrawal from the sport in December 2008 due to the global financial crisis. The team started development of their car in early 2008, when still owned by Honda. Willy Rampf
Willy Rampf (born 20 June 1953) is a German car engineer who is currently a technical consultant for Williams Racing and was the former technical director of the Sauber Formula One team. Career Rampf was born in Maria Thalheim, studied Automotive Engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, and has worked as a development engineer for BMW since 1979. From 1989 to 1993, Rampf worked for BMW in South Africa, where he discovered Formula One. The Sauber team made its debut in Formula One at the South African Grand Prix in 1993. Rampf was invited to the race, and half a year later he signed a contract to become race engineer for the Sauber team. Rampf was the engineer of Sauber driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen for three years.
